Align’s mission is to streamline company-wide announcements, ensuring clear, efficient communication to reduce workplace rumors. Through its mobile and web app, Align enables organizations to share updates, track views, and field anonymous questions—promoting transparency as a guiding "north star".
Align’s branding combines professionalism with approachability, emphasizing accessible, company-wide information. The logo and brand elements symbolize alignment, guiding teams toward a unified source.
*This project is a conceptual branding exercise created to demonstrate my design process and skills. The company depicted is fictional.

When exploring logo ideas, I aimed to capture the motion of alignment visually. Starting with straightforward concepts helps me refine ideas and create space for more complex designs. Next, I explored shapes that incorporate the "A" in the wordmark, experimenting with forms that replicate and align to create a unique symbol. This approach led to shapes that act as individual elements, all pointing in one direction—mirroring how employees look to one source for information.
The final logo features multiple arrows converging toward a central point, where the negative space forms a star. The star represents a central, important message, while the arrows symbolize individuals all directed toward a single source. The final mark is clean and simple, embodying Align's mission of centralized communication within large organizations. Acting as a "north star" for clarity, the logomark conveys a professional and focused application experience.
